Start the day with a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives.

Day 3 Qumran- Masada - Dead Sea


Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level. Stop at Qumran to visit the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada.


Ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73 AD. Descend by cable car.


Continue to the Dead Sea; cover yourself with the mineral rich mud and experience a swim in the Dead Sea* that many believe has its therapeutic effects (*weather permitting). Return to Jerusalem.

Day 4 Jerusalem - The New City


Drive to the Israel museum; visit the Shrine of the book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period; proceed for a tour at the Knesset, Israel's parliament.
Continue to visit Mount Herzl cemetery and Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Centre. Visit Mea Shearim (proper clothing strongly recommended), the ultra orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem and learn about their unique lifestyle (proper clothing strongly recommended).
In the evening enjoy a Middle Eastern dinner followed by the spectacular "sound & light" show* at the Tower of David museum (weather conditions permitting).

Day 2 – Tiberias – Nazareth - Haifa

Start the day with a visit to Tiberias; visit Capernaum to see the ruins of the synagogue and octagonal church of St. Peter. We will continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.

Then, we will drive to Nazareth and visit the church of Annunciation.

Drive to the northern coastal city of Israel and will visit the fortress served as the Hospitaller Order's main headquarters in 13th century, Acre. This order was an international military order that wielded property, power and a great deal of influence in the Land of Israel during the Crusader Period. We will exit the halls through the Templars Tunnel, which served as a strategic underground passageway that connected the fortress to the port. We will walk along the land and sea walls and visit the market.

We will then continue to the Bahai’s Temple and gardens, learning about the Baha’i history and religion and appreciating the aesthetic features of the gardens too.

Continue on to the golden domed Bahai Shrine to visit the magnificent Persian Gardens.

Day 3 Zichron Yaakov – Caesarea – Tel Aviv

After breakfast, depart to Zichron Yaakov, a small, tranquil town, offering breathtaking views across Coastland beyond. Zichron’s main street, known as Midrahov, is now a pedestrianized zone lined with cafes and boutique artistic stores. Being the original street of the settlement, many of the houses are of great historic value and plaques outside tell the story of many. At the end of the street is the First Aliyah Museum, which tells the fascinating story of the pioneers from Europe who established this town over a hundred years ago.

Then, we will visit a winery.

Continue to Caesarea "Maritima" ("on the sea") that was founded by King Herod in the year 25 BCE, and was a major city up to the Crusaders period.

Visit the Herodian Theater and new excavations along the Mediterranean shore concluding with a visit to the 900-year-old crusader city built on the same site.

We will continue and end the day in Tel Aviv.
Drive around the main streets of Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel, also known as the "White City" and declared by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site. Continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000 year Old Port city; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artists' quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with its musicians, handmade jewelry and artifacts.
Next, stop at Sheinkin, the lively and colorful street specially known with the unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance.

Refund of payments made towards accommodation will be refunded if written notification reaches the Conference Secretariat, Ortra Ltd. as follows:
Cancellation received within 14 days from the date of registration (unless registration was made during the 7 days prior to the symposium) – Full refund
less 100 NIS handling fees.

If cancellation received 15 days or more from the date of registration refund will
be made as follows:

  • Before March 03rd - Full refund with deduction of NIS 100 handling fee
  • From March 04th – 50% refund
  • From March 24th – No refund
